Rajasthan government has announced to start Navjat Shishu Suraksha Yojana 2021 for infants. Health Department will soon bring a policy for new born babies who are born with low birth weight, malnutrition and those who are premature babies. The main objective of Navjat Suraksha Yojna is to bring down the infant mortality rate (IMR) and to take care of neonates. Moreover, Kangaroo Mother Care initiative would also be started in the state.
The Health dept. of Rajasthan will promote Kangaroo Mother Care technique to provide continuous skin-to-skin contact b/w mother and baby. Moreover, there would be exclusive breast milk feeding to keep the baby healthy under Kangaroo Mother Care initiative which is a natural incubator.
Nirogi Rajasthan Campaign has already been started in the state to reduce IMR and Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR).

The new Navjat Shishu Suraksha Yojana 2021 will help in bringing down the infant mortality rate further. This scheme aims to improve the healthcare facilities for neonates. Health dept. of Rajasthan has also decided to include Kangaroo Mother Care in Nirogi Rajasthan Yojana of the state government. Kangaroo Mother Care training programmes would be organized in Rajasthan to prevent deaths of neonates by improving healthcare facilities.

Rajasthan Navjat Shishu Suraksha Yojana Apply Form 2021
All the interested applicants who wants to minimize the health related problems of their newborn babies can apply for Rajasthan Navjat Shishu Suraksha Yojana 2021. Only those candidates who will apply for Navjaat Suraksha Yojana would be able to avail the scheme benefits. The state govt. of Rajasthan has 77 master trainers in Kangaroo Mother Care which will go to district and block level to train healthcare staff.
In Rajasthan, the infant mortality rate is 35 deaths per 1,000 live births. As per the National Family Health Survey 2015-16, IMR in Rajasthan was 41 deaths per 1,000 live births. Health dept. aims to further bring down IMR by formulating Navjat Shishu Suraksha Yojana, Nirogi Rajasthan and Kangaroo Mother Care initiative.
राज्य के इच्छुक लाभार्थी इस योजना के तहत अपने नवजात शिशुओं को स्वास्थय सम्बन्धी परेशानियों को दूर करना चाहते है तो उन्हें Navjaat Suraksha Yojana 2021 के तहत आवेदन करना होगा । तभी वह इस योजना का लाभ उठा सकते है । राजस्थान में, शिशु मृत्यु दर प्रति 1000 जीवित जन्मों पर 35 मौतें हैं। राष्ट्रीय परिवार के अनुसार, स्वास्थ्य सर्वेक्षण वर्ष 2015-16 में राजस्थान में शिशु मृत्यु दर प्रति 1000 जीवित जन्मों में 41 मौतों की है। इस राजस्थान नवजात सुरक्षा योजना 2021 के तहत आने वाले समय में नवजात शिशु मृत्यु दर को और कम किया जायेगा । इस योजना के तहत राजस्थान के कम वजन वाले, कुपोषित समय से जन्मे बच्चे के स्वास्थ्य का विशेष ध्यान रखना होगा ।

Benefits of Rajasthan Navjat Suraksha Yojana 2021
- इस योजना के अंतर्गत राजस्थान के कम वजन वाले ,कुपोषित और समय से पहले जन्मे नवजात शिशुओं को स्वास्थ्य सम्बन्धी सुरक्षा सुविधा प्रदान की जाएगी ।

Kangaroo Mother Care is a low cost technique which is highly practical and has potential to save millions of new born babies without any burden or healthcare cost. This technique is still underutilized and if utilized properly, this initiative can save many lives. Health dept. is using this technique for the past few years at JK Lon Hospital and now Rajasthan has trained doctors and nurses.
The Kangaroo Mother Care is just like putting a child in warmer, which is a mechanical care, but it is a humanised care with better results.
