Rajasthan Higher Education Ministry has launched Gyandoot 2.0 as an online education program. The e-content in all subjects prepared as per the university curriculum would be available on the Gyandoot channel of the College Education Department. This content would remain available absolutely free of cost to all the students of government or private colleges and universities. Rajasthan Gyandoot 2.0 Online Education Program Launch
The Minister of State for Higher Education, Rajendra Singh Yadav, on 12 Jan 2022 launched the second edition of Gyan Doot. It is a special assistance program for students academic support, guidance and preparation for examinations. Gyandoot channel initiative has been taken by the College Education Department to prepare the e-content in total 14 subjects which includes the following:-
- 8 subjects of Arts
- 4 subjects of Science
- 2 subjects of Commerce
Other subjects can be included in this online education program as per the demand. For this, 9 government colleges have been made subject wise nodal institutes.
Need for Gyandoot Channel as Special Academic Support Program
There is a need for Gyandoot channel as a special academic support program in which good quality e-content will be available online in Hindi language to the students. The Gyan Doot 2.0 channel can be viewed and read in 24×7 mode from anywhere and anytime. Along with this, online live solutions of the subject problems of the students will also be done in this program every week, so that the students will be able to clear their doubts. The relevance of this Gyan Doot 2.0 program has increased, especially in the Covid circumstances.
